A
gothic-rock album that fails to impress. While it has some good ideas, overall it seems to fail. The production is varied
and the songs are very similar save for two. One of those has an almost alternative guitar sound to it 'For Bad Times' and
one hase really distorted screamy vocals. While variety is good, on album that is supposed to be atmospheric, those changes
just don't seem to flow well. I also seem to get a slight Katatonia vibe in their goth-rock sound which is good, just not
good enough. I am just not sure what direction they want to take with this. It could get good.
