What we get from Seventh One is a nice slab of meaty, juicy and aggressive power metal. What grabbed me at first was the lead singer, Rino, who showcases uses both a melodic and aggressive voice and uses them both in a very effective way. A very powerful vocalist as well.

The songs themselves are very consistent in quality and have a nice variety of faster and mid-paced thumpers all with a true metal edge to them. They don't really offer anything new to the scene of power metal but do have very good songs that will have you singing along in no time.

Speaking of singing along....some of these choruses are incredibly catchy...."The Fall" for example caught my ear....

"Blessed by gods we're fighting the ages; it's out time
Kingdom Falling
Blessed by gods we're choosing our path
we're seeing the signs
Glory's calling"

Man you just gotta hear it.... This is easily my favorite song on this disc. Maybe because it does remind me a little of Blind Guardian.

Well this is definitely a recommended disc!!!!

Favorites: The Fall, Eternal Life in Lies, Shadow of Your Soul, The Seventh Eye
