This is a great album...and yes... it is gothic!!!
Atmospheric gothic metal I guess you could say (as they do on their web-site). For My Pain is a project from some of the guys
from Eternal Tears of Sorrow with Tuomas from Nightwish and the guitarist from Embraze. And what they have created is incredible!!!!!!
First
off, the vocalist has a great and smooth voice. Not cracky and in pain gothy or that real deep on either..a very pleasant
voice. He also sings in a band called Reflexion which I will now look into. Keys have a slight majestic and atmospheric feel
to it, very good with the goth-rock heavy riffs and thumpy bass lines.
Just a great album...blind purchase!!! Hell,
it was for me :)
