I have always been a big TNT fan...way back to Knights of the New Thunder and have always enjoyed Tony Harnell's vocals.  So when this was released and readily available, I scooped it up and hoped for the best.  It was a good choice as it seems to be ending up as one of my favorites for 2005.

What we got here is some melodic hard rock and as stated by many before me, this is some of the heaviest stuff that Tony has done in his career.  If you are expecting it to sound like TNT, keep moving along.... this is, as stated above, heavier, crunchier and more aggressive and I really like it. The songs are catchy and humm in your head long after you have stopped playing the CD.

The only down side is the second half of the CD doesn't seem to stand up to first half.  The songs are still good, but after the first 5 songs, it would be very hard to keep up that kind quality (though I wish they had).  The final 'hidden' track is a nice acoustic version of Days of Confusion and is a nice touch to finish the album.

Overall, great stuff
