I have always been and Edguy fan...used to be a big fan until about the time Mandrake
came out. The silliness and the reduction of the bombast lost some for me.
Superheroes offers a lot for an EP...ony one song you'll have to buy again..one cover
and 3 new songs...that works for me. The title track is an accessible Edguy tune...a little campy but good. Spooks
in the Attic is a good, catchy tune. Blessing in Disguise is a surprisingly good power ballad. Judas
at the Opera is a return to some bombast a la VGO & ToS, too bad some of the lyrics are totally
annoying (on the silly side). It also features Kiske. The Spirit is a nice soothing acoustic Magnum cover.
I think it is my favorite on the album.
The final track is an "epic" version of Superheroes.
Pretty decent for an EP.
