LMP is letting me down.  As a power metal fan, LMP is an obvious label I would like...however, other than the recent Black Majesty disc, they have put out a few lackluster products (See Wizard-Magic Circle).  Unfortunatley, that trend continues with the latest from Galloglass.  That upcoming Eldritch disc better kick some ass.

I will start with the improvements on Heavenseeker.  The production is top-notch and singer has improved and his voice is stronger on this disc.  I also got the limited edition with the extra tracks (average) and the bonus DVD with all kinds of stuff...the concert taped gives a good 'audience view' of a Galloglass concert.  Couldn't get into that, guess I am spoiled by the Nightwish, Blind Guardian and the latest Grave Digger DVD.....

Onto the bad....the songs themselves are just....ehh.  Not much variety (even with the violin still around) in the songs, too much double bass and the songs just seem to meld together.  I've listened to this disc several times and I can't remember one song...let alone one chorus without haveing to play the disc to remind me...not a good thing to happen in the music business.

I waited so long for this disc....and this is what I get.....bummer.

Favorites: Heavenseeker, Dawn of New Age (I think)
