Since I will probably never see them live, I had no other choice but to buy the new
Grave Digger DVD. I am glad I did. I also have no idea how to review a DVD (yeah, like I know how to review a
CD:), here goes.
Grave Digger releases 25 to Live, a concert recorded in Brazil, to commemorate
the 25th anniversary of the band's existence. Let me tell you, they wanted to please their fans with this. 26
songs!!! (plus intro) Who the hell plays this many songs live? The songs are a nice cross-section of the
band's history. From Heavy Metal Breakdown to The Last Supper, GD pounds out the songs as the emphatic
Sao Paulo faithful sing along, especially during the choruses.....MURDER! MURDER!
Grave Digger is not a flashy band, but they play their songs great, professionally
and put on a good show for their crazed fans. American metal fans got nothing on these Brazilians.
Well that's all I got. If you are a fan of Grave Digger, this is a must have.
Oh yeah, the 2 CDs are the same as the DVD, minus the video.
Favorites: The Last Supper, Knights of the Cross, Rebellion, Battle of Bannockburn,
