OBEDIENCE
Obedience is not something your pet was born with, it has to be developed. The biggest
problem that we find with most pets is lack of attention. Most dogs seem to pay more attention to their surroundings, than
they do their owners. This can cause problems like leash pulling, and lunging. Nobody wants to be dragged down the street
by an over enthusiastic dog! With proper training, your pet will learn not only to pay attention, but also listen to commands
like sit, stay, heel, and come. We can also teach more advanced off-leash commands and hand signals as well.
PROTECTON and SECURITY
Many people would like the security and confidence that a well-trained dog can give them, but they
hesitate because of the myths and misconceptions surrounding protection dogs. The myths surrounding ownership of a personal
protection dog are mostly just that, myths. For instance, the idea that a personal protection dog won't make a good
family companion is nonsense. A well-trained protection dog is an asset to any household.

HOUSEBREAKING
Having a pet can be the best experience in the world, unless
your pet is not housebroken. Waking up, or coming home to a mess on the carpet or furniture can strain your nerves, as well
as your wallet. Southland can help you get rid of this problem for good. Our professional instructors will come to your home
and walk you through our proven 3-step housebreaking method, and stay with you until the job is done.
IN-HOME EVALUATION
Before we accept a dog for training, we do an in-home evaluation to assess what
program is best suited for you and your pet. The evaluation runs approximately an hour and costs $20. We will come to your
home to do the evaluation. If a program is purchased the day of the evaluation, the evaluation fee is included. After the
evaluation we will give you a fixed cost for a program, and explain what your involvement will be as well as ours . We are
equipped to get you enrolled. Since we are a service that is personalized, and in YOUR home, all appointments will be scheduled
at your convenience with a qualified trainer.
