We are located about 100 miles north west of San Antonio, off highway 377 south
of Junction. Access is by County Road 161 (unpaved), traversing
several rocky creek beds. To make sure you don't miss a turn, you can follow us in. Heavy
rain in the watershed may delay coming and going!
This area is home to a large population of native whitetail deer and
many types of exotic game introduced by area ranchers. Barbado were introduced to Contrary Creek Ranch in the 70's;
Axis were introduced at GBL in the 80's.
We are in Edwards County in the southwest corner of the Texas Hill Country. We are part of a growing number of landowners developing wildlife and offering hunting
opportunity in this area.
