February 2008

On the Saturday we took the train up to Derby in the English Midlands. It was a beautiful and sunny English day, although very chilly and we were met by our friends Andrew and Rachel Heath. We first got to know the Heaths in Dallas - they were over here on an International Assignment as well, but have since relocated back to the UK.

Andrew and Rachel took us for a drive through the Midland district. We visited Chatsworth House where one of those period girly movies was filmed - I think it may have been Pride and Prejudice, and had lunch at the Peacock Inn in a nearby village. Then it was off to Bakewell, home of the world famous Bakewell Pudding......
