David, Emma and Erin were part of the Indian Princesses organization again this year. In fact
Dave as "Mighty Wombat" was the chief of the Cheyenne tribe, a great bunch of about 12 dads and princesses. Emma is "Golden
Filly" and Erin is "Flying Filly"..... Our own "skippy" the blow up kangaroo has become our tribe mascot and comes to all
events. In fact the Cheyenne tribe has become known as the Skippy tribe as well :)
This year just our tribe went away for a weekend on the ranch owned by one of our dad's
and had a fantastic time. We actually camped out 4 times this year as well as participating in many other fun activities.
Our tribe is part of the Yo-He-Wah nation (which has 30 tribes) and when we start again in August, Dave is the Nation Sachem
which is like the nation spiritual leader - the Sachem does the prayers and lessons at the nation campouts. The girls like
this because he and they get to be up in front and wear the big Indian feather head-dresses.
