Emma on vacation in Florida

Hi everyone! My summer was great. As you probably know, I visited Australia for a month, and it was great seeing you all again (those of you who live in Australia). When we got back, we went on a big road trip visiting 17 different states, plus Canada, which you probably know already as well. It was awesome! We went to all kinds of cool places, like Niagara Falls. We went to Florida first, which was super cool because we stayed right by the water at San Destin. Then we drove up to Washington DC, visiting a whole heap of historic places, like Jamestown, to and from it. We stopped at Savannah, Georgia on the way up to Washington DC, and it was awesome - really historic. we then headed up to Niagara Falls. It was super cool!!! Then we visited Aunty Lynn and Uncle Gerry- we drove all day! When we got back from our driving trip, we had to move! It was wild, and very hectic. But now we live in a 2-story house with a pool! :)

School's been going great. 6th grade is fast paced- especially in accelerated maths( I'm doing 7th and 8th grade maths)! I'm also doing band this year-the oboe. It's tough, but super fun. Talking about band, last Tuesday we had the fall preview- a concert for our parents to show them how much we've learned so far. So now we're learning the pieces we're doing for the Christmas concert- we're doing it in front of the whole school!!! And yesterday( 1st of November), we had a fun day at main  event- it was just for band, and it was so much fun! I played laser tag for the first time, and it was really fun.

My maths teacher, Mr. Mangham, is really cool. He makes class really fun. And so does Ms. Johnson, my science and social studies teacher. Ms. Greenwood, my Language Arts  teacher, is awesome.

I still do Lacrosse- it's super cool.Coach Riley from last year moved up to coach the middle school team, so this year Juliette's mum, Coach Dickson,is coaching us. She's really fun. Mummy's in charge of all the paperwork and stuff- she's the team coordinator.:)The games don't start until spring, so wish us luck!:)
I have to go now. Bye!!!
