We left Destin Florida and drove about 400 miles across the Florida panhandle to Jacksonville, and then into Georgia and up to Savannah, where we spent the night.
 
Savannah is a beautiful, very historic, riverfront city that is a famous part of the history of the South, and a place we have always wanted to visit. Established in 1733 and located on the Savannah river, the waterfront district is full of old buildings and southern mansions, lovely restaraunts, beautiful parks and riverboats.....
