Ruth (Kenworthy)was born February 16, 1933 in Verona Ohio, to Jim and Myrtle(Requarth) Kenworthy. She had one brother that passed away on February 27, 2006 In Garland TX. Ruth graduated from Verona high school in 1950.

Bob was born February 28, 1933 in Dayton Ohio, to Fred and Edith(Landis) Shepherd. Bob was an only child. He was raised in Ithaca Ohio and graduated from Arcanum high school in 1951.

Verona and Ithaca are just north west of Dayton Ohio.

We were married June 20, 1953 in Ruth's home in Verona Ohio. Bob was in the Army at that time stationed in Neosha Mo. When discharge from the Army we returned to Ohio and worked for NCR Corp. A career move with NCR took us to  Millsboro Delaware in 1972. Bob left NCR and began a new career with Airpax Inc. ( A division of Philips) in Cambridge on the Eastern Shore of Maryland . Ruth worked for Beltone-Lednum, A hearing aid dealer. We have two children, Jeff and David. Both are still on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Ruth and Bob retired in September 1995.  In November of 1995 we moved to Skyview Estates, Lakeland Florida. We had purchased a home in Skyview Estates in April of 1994, during a visit to Bob's parents who lived there . We plan, each year, to spend the month of August in a cabin located in the Tennessee mountains.
