Hilltribe silver shells with coral

$250.00 USD

coralshellweb.jpg

Because of the purity of the silver it will tarnish much less than sterling.  I have not had to polish any of my Hilltribe silver.  All of the Hilltribe beads are made by hand without the use of power tools.  They are antiqued to bring out the design.

This is a large piece with finely worked Hilltribe silver shells and red coral.  A large sterling silver "J" hook clasp finishes the back.  The earring shells are approximately 1 inch and the large shell is about 2.5 inches. The shells are hollow, and so are not as heavy as they appear.  Hilltribe silver is made by the Hilltribe people of Thailand.  They use soft silver, typically 98% pure silver.
