Gary Goltz, has a broad range of industry experience that spans bio medical devices, corporate compliance, disease management, enterprise software solutions, home health, radiology and more. He is the consummate networker whose perseverance has resulted in successful strategic alliances, mergers, and acquisitions with group purchasing organizations, hospital systems, insurance companies, managed care payers, and medical groups.

Gary's Key Clients

Air Liquid: Key player in the turnaround of its Vitalaire division leading to its successful divesture to Lincare. Closed Beaver Medical, City of Hope, and Huntington Provider Group contracts.

Becton Dickinson: Consulted with their corporate marketing group providing assistance in the formulation of a home healthcare product strategy.

CareTools: Covered the western region for this process automation software firm that utilized the Internet to provide a cost-effective e-health technology toolset. Initiated Select Data partnership.

Coram Healthcare: Provided support to sales team in closing key accounts, Healthcare Partners and City of Hope.  Assisted CEO in negotiating a fair resolution of legal dispute with Med Partners. Coram was acquired by Apria.

DaVita: Provided back up for their VP of Business Development, assisting the company with the development of their Kaiser Permenate strategy.

Fresenius Medical Care: Brought in by their home healthcare division president to stabilize declining sales.  Reduced staff turnover and focused them on growing profitable business lines. Implemented an automated sales reporting system.  Closed Cedar Sinai, City of Hope, Care First, and LA Care contracts. 

Government Management Services: Opened several new markets including malpractice insurance carriers for a this firm that provides a database of sanctioned healthcare professionals know as FACIS. Closed over 100 new accounts and built the company's in-house national sales program.

Home Medical of America: Conducted an extensive review of operations for the president resulting in a net savings of $8 million.  Re-engineered sales positions to actively participate in the collections process.

Imagyn Medical Technologies: Handled national accounts for their brachytherapy and breast biopsy devices. Negotiated contracts with AmeriNet, MAGNET, Med Assets HSCA, and Mid Atlantic Medical GPOs, which helped the company's sale to C.R. Bard.

Island Data Corporation:  Accessed HMO/PPO markets this emerging technology company that offered enterprise software solutions for high volume call centers in terms of screening FAQs.

Ralin Medical:  Assisted their CorSolutions disease management division with introductions to targeted managed care payers such as Pacificare, Aetna, HealthNet, and Wellpoint.

Servicemaster:  Worked with their hospital pharmacy management division for 10 months providing direction in support of new contract sales efforts.  Closed Alhambra Community Hospital agreement.

US Diagnostic Labs: Built this group of radiology centers a complete network of contracts over a 2-year period. This included signing agreements with Beech Street, Corvel, State Fund, and PHN.

Gary's Prior Experience

Curaflex Health Services, Ontario, CA, Senior Vice President -- July 1993 to July 1995
Served as a senior executive through company's merger with several of its national rivals to form Coram in July of 1994. Re-engineered national managed care sales program and closed several large corporate accounts including Pacific Physicians Services (now KPC Global) that generated $3 million in annual revenue.

Comprehensive Pharmacy Home I.V. Services, Ontario, CA, President -- March 1989 to June 1993
Grew this start-up firm from concept to $6 million in annual revenue with 38% profitability using disruptive technology. This was result of a strategic decision to target managed care organizations several years ahead of the competition. In December of 1991, Comprehensive made HomeCare magazine’s “Top 100 Companies to Watch”. Curaflex Health Services acquired Comprehensive in July of 1993 for a record 7X earnings.


Foster Medical Corporation, Blue Bell, PA, Regional Vice President -- March 1982 to February 1989
Continued to build Foster's highest revenue and profit producing region following it's acquisition of Johnson Rents. Developed national sales training program and implemented company’s first capitation contract. Groomed a team of managers who continued to hold key leadership roles in home care long after Abbey Medical and Homedco merged with Foster to form the industry leader, Apria.

Johnson Rents, Inc., Conshohocken, PA, General Manager -- August 1977 to February 1982
Pioneered sales and marketing techniques resulting in a substantial increase in both revenues and profits. Improved customer service and reduced delinquent
accounts receivable. Facilitated Pittsburgh and Chicago successful branch turnarounds. Chicago is still one of Apria's largest branches.
