I think it would be safe to claim we were a…, a…, motley crew. In fact, J Soucy - classmate extraordinaire – the Moonie-Man Soucy, claimed to have been a “roadie’ for Motley Crue,” in the late 80’s. “Before the whole Pamela Sue Anderson thing,” he was quick to point out. We were a loose assemblage of “Verizon’s best.” From pole setters and SST types on the coast, to SST and EI types in the Lakes region, to SST, Enterprise Solutions Group COT's and Transport COTs in the Salem / Manchester area. We started off as 16 individuals with different backgrounds, interests and goals. We finished as a team, with many shared interests and desires. We agonized together over math and physics concepts, over electrons and ISO data models, and over poems and prose. We had the moon-landing hoax conspiracy explained ad-nauseum and nearly had one of our Republicans vs. Democrats debates erupt into civility.
