and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeff , a proud father, holding his first son Jeffrey born Nov. 14, 2000
He was a classmate, an IBEW brother, and an all-around great guy. Though fighting a nearly lifelong battle with Crohn's disease and cancer, Jeff never thought of saying anything about his burdens. In fact, only one classmate was even aware he was fighting this battle until his illnesses became more frequent and more severe.
More often than not, Jeff was likely to show up for class with a broad smile on his face, disguising the pain he endured daily. As the rest of us in his NextStep class learned more about Jeff and his battle with Crohn's and cancer, we marveled at his endurance and his determination. He was a fighter. He was a friend. He made us all proud to know him.
We, the NextStep class of 2005 (NHCTC-Nashua)
dedicate our "Capstone" project to:
Mr. Jeffery Deshaies…,
“in memory of our classmate and friend”
Godspeed Jeff.
