The fun starts at Texas Guinan's speakeasy nightclub but it turns into mayhem as Bugsy Moran's boys show up (sub-machine guns and all) to take over the joint, It seems that Ms Guinan hasn't paid her dues to the underworld "protectors."
Mayor Jimmy Walker is on hand with a little song and dance. There's a lot of Cole Porter music.

People like Fannie Brice and Al Jolson show up to entertain and be entertained.
The audience gets a chance to do a little maneuvering on the dance floor to the "Charleston" and the "Black Bottom."..
