Wittenberg Learning Center
Epiphany
Lutheran Church in Woodbridge, Virginia has sponsored an educational ministry for high school students since 2002. The Wittenberg Learning Center (WLC) is a high school diploma
program designed for students who benefit from small group and individual instruction.
We are located at Lutheran Church of the Covenant on Cloverdale Road.
Wittenberg,
Germany was the location of the seminary where Martin Luther was a professor of theology.
He encouraged the education of children as the responsibility of Christian society.
Epiphany Lutheran Church feels called to this responsibility and educational ministry in Prince William County.
Students
attending the Wittenberg Learning Center are enrolled in Boston School, an accredited high school program located in Joshua
Tree, California. Boston School issues a high school diploma to qualifying students.
For
the 2006-2007 school year Wittenberg Learning Center will offer the following classes: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus,
Calculus, Sign Language 1, U. S. History, Chemistry and English.
The
student’s spiritual development will be encouraged through a daily devotion. The
