Io crossing Jupiter on 7-21-08, f/10, red filter

Captured a frame a second for about a half hour. That's Io's shadow you see later on.

The seeing forecast was very good but it wasn't there tonight. Maybe another good night will come!

The seeing was pretty good this night. Surprised at how calm things seem on this part.

There are a couple of little storms visible near the GRS equatorial belt

You can see all three red spots on this pic. Little Red Spot to right gets swallowed up by GRS.
