The Lady Panthers advance two doubles teams to regionals with big wins at the MAC tournament.
Andrea Bell & Taylor Boss will be joined by Natalie Best & Courtney
Dryman at the 2008 state regionals tournament on October 17th. The event will be hosted by TC Roberson High School.
Bell & Bost defeated North Buncombe 6-1, 6-0 & Asheville 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
Best & Dryman defeated Erwin 6-0, 6-1; Tuscola 6-3, 6-0 & North Buncombe 6-4, 6-3.
Honorable mention goes to singles players Kaitlyn Sutton & Hanna Vogelgesang for making it to
the final round.
Sutton defeated North Buncombe's player before falling to Asheville's number two singles player.
Vogelgesang defeated Erwin's & North Buncombe's players before being defeated by TC Roberson.
