The Food

Your concierge service weekend stay begins with a welcome reception where you will enjoy beverages and hors d'oeuvres out in the botanical garden or in the indoor atrium.

As the weekend progresses you will enjoy savory dining experiences from Friday night dinner through a special brunch on Sunday. All meals are prepared with the finest ingredients and the utmost care to ensure they area delicious and delectable. In order to tantalize your taste buds, an array of snacks and home made goodies will also be offered throughout the weekend.

Please let me know if you have any food allergies at the time of your booking and we will do our best to create a menu that will accommodate your dietary needs.

An assortment of beverages, such as regular and diet sodas, coffee, water, iced tea, hot tea, juices and more will be provided throughout your stay.

Your casual service weekend stay is a scaled down version of the concierge weekend. Your stay includes a continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday as well as dinner on Friday and Saturday. We will provide your group with a menu of choices from local grills and eateries. The food will either be delivered or picked up by your hostess. You are on your own for lunch but we will provide you with restaurant suggestions and menus.

This service also provides beverages for the entire weekend. You are welcome to bring any snacks or additional beverages you would like to enjoy during your stay.

The Spa Services

For the ultimate in relaxation, indulge yourself with spa services. These services are available for an additional fee. If you would like a spa service, simply click on the spa link below. Determine which services you would like and schedule them at the time your reservation is made. Payment for these services are made directly to the technician. The technicians accept cash or checks.

The Scrapping/Hobby Room

The workroom is large and airy room with cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, and views of the lovely garden. Each guest will have the luxury of working at her own table. There is over 10 square feet of workspace per person. Your personal space includes a lamp, cup, trash bin, supply shelf and electrical power source. The lamp provides full spectrum lighting which replicates natural daylight. This type of lighting enables you to see the true color of the media you are working with, prevents eye fatigue, and does not produce heat.

The following craft room supplies are available for your use: computer (with over 1,500 fonts), 12 x 12 printer, Quic Kutz, Sizzix, Crop-A-Dile, 60+ punches, circle and oval cutters, corner rounder, paper trimmers, X-acto knife and blades, fancy scissors, staplers, sponges, brushes, chalk, acrylic paints, walnut inks, Making Memories tool set, foam stamps, ruler, heat embosser, idea books, and assorted hobby magazines.

The "Garden Tool Shed"

To assist you with scrapbooking needs, visit the "Garden Tool Shed" - an on site supply store where you can purchase embellishments, solid color and patterned or decorative paper, adhesives, stickers, ribbon, rub-ons, foam stamps, albums, refill pages, page protectors, etc. The store is stocked with supplies from Junkitz, Wild Asparagus, Li'l Davis, Autumn Leaves, Tim Holtz, Bazzill, Karen Foster, Tombow, Making Memories, Jolee's, Rubber Stampede, BasicGrey, K&Company and much more.

While a supply store and scrapbooking tools are available, you may want to bring your own supplies so that you can add that personal and special touch to your pages.

The Home and the "Five Cities"

This home is situated in Arroyo Grande, one of the "Five Cities" along the Central Coast of California. The property is situated among lovely plants, flowers, and mature trees. While taking a break from your hobby, enjoy the peaceful gardens, water fountains and tranquil neighborhood. Or just sit back and enjoy some time in the Jacuzzi.

Play a round of golf at the 4 1/2 star Cypress Ridge golf course, located one block away. Or, you may want to take a short drive to the famous Pismo Beach dunes or boardwalk or the historic Arroyo Grande Village. Pismo Beach offers an abundance of seaside shops and restaurants. The white sand beach is beautiful and you can even drive your car onto a long strand of the beach. The nearby historic Village of Arroyo Grande offers a host of antique and specialty shops, walking paths, as well as restaurants and a tantalizing ice crème shop!
