BYE BYE, GM
Well now. Didn't we just know it? Manufacturers are going broke and Japan has decided to raise the price of its cars to "help out" their "American" competitors.
I've been watching this kind of stuff since HP brought in a management group, Allegis Corporation, and went slip-sliding down that mountainside from the high-most peak to absolute garbage dump.
Allegis specializes in doing the job with the highest number of unskilled and illiterate laborers, paying them next to nothing, moving their bully supervisors around, and completely destroying customer service. Their MO does not preclude charging you for a brand new custom computer but delivering a refurbished, almost unresponsive machine with so much hidden crap they could not overwrite or dump still left on what was supposed to be a max-gig hard drive. Not only is the drive not the size it is supposed to be, but old programs they tried to wipe were not. It isn't that hard to do, but no one at the HP laborer level knows what the hell they are doing.
7.50 an hour and who cares what they put out just so they get it out there as fast as they can.
Before HP went in the dumper, Allegis Group already had a near monopoly on management, hiring, firing, placement, etc. at Sony Corp. When Sony started having real employee and product problems, Allegis had been sued and lost quite a few times for employee and wage fraud abuses. There was so much friction between supervisors and workers, including sexual harrassment, firings without cause, and
systematic and persistant violations of OSHA regulations. Inexperienced and untrained younger workers in their labor pool were routinely assigned to skilled labor jobs, being paid minimum wage with no hope of advancement. Deserved bonuses were not paid for one excuse or another, but Allegis controlled literally every facet of Sony Technology from the top down.
Lo and behold, Sony headquarters in Japan only saw the bottom line. It must have seemed like a miracle, all that productivity even though the goods coming from Allegis controlled plants were shoddy, so for the first time in its history, it took one of these great business architects and made him the CEO in Japan.

IN MEMORY OF AND TRIBUTE TO?

ALL of the men and women, from those who fought to make this country FREE from kings, to every single American who fought in past wars, and those who continue to fight for the hardwon FREEDOM in the faces of our enemies within and without.

We have enjoyed Freedom such as no other country on the planet earth. Sadly, those who would steal it from us are hard at work to enslave us and we seem to have just wakened to the very real onslaught of those who want everything against those who have a little something.

It seems it goes on and on as this world continues wobbling through space. We watch in abject horror as these dark and evil people corrupt everything they touch, from the tiniest children, to those who "govern" us.

Elected officials seek to perpetuate their own power which resides in the hands of unelected power brokers. It no longer matters what we think or what WE think of THEM. They don't care about anything but having a seat at the table, or under it, and gathering crumbs from the masters like the abhorent vermin they are.

For instance, John McCain, self-proclaimed "war hero," reminds me of a reptile in people clothing. He has always been trouble, always been corrupt, but people forget or forgive. John McCain was the spoiled, bratty son of an admiral. He never cared about us so-called "little people" then, and he only got worse.
The man LOOKS like a snake. There are no whites to his eyes. They do not look at you, but shift all around as if the last thing he wants is for someone to actually look him in the eye and see his very real lack of soul or conscience.
His tongue is forever darting out of his mouth. One corner, then the other. Sometimes straight out. But there is no mistaking the snakelike qualities John McCain exhibits, but that is for another day.
I am just sick to death of John McCain.

Judges who are supposed to administer justice according to OUR Constitution have taken over making the laws. Never before have we been so without justice that we are ordered to give up our property or place our children in the hands of teachers' unions and special agenda groups that do not teach wisdom, nor WITH wisdom.

There are freedoms our heroes have fought and died for, which a chosen few seek to control. We must honor our heroes by remembering their sacrifices and being warriors ourselves in their best tradition.

FREEDOM is only ours if we can hold it. Wake up, America.
