To the Editor: I attended the last two meetings of the Bucks
County Commissioners. I was struck by the contrast between the articulation of the public and the attitude toward this by
the three commissioners. The commissioners appeared not to be listening to the information and questions posed to them, but
rather to be formulating in their heads debate-type responses. They appeared to be smug, sarcastic, of the "Good Old Boys"
image, and most unprofessional. Granted their job is difficult, and the difficult topic was selecting a voting machine, but
they did not appear to want to rise to the occasion of this challenge; they were weary of doing their job. Thank you for
giving me the opportunity of free speech.
