Suzanne Erb was a guest
on Voice of the Voters! on March 14, 2007.
In both her professional and private life, Suzanne
Erb has enabled people from all walks of life in their efforts towards self-expression and self-determination. With
a master's degree in counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in music from Bryn Mawr College,
Ms. Erb not only advocates for the blind, but also has been active in the Welfare to Work arena, as evidenced in her work
with various public and private agencies in the Philadelphia area, including, most recently, JEVS Human Services.
Ms. Erb currently serves as the Chair of the City
of Philadelphia Mayor's Commission on People with Disabilities and is a member of the Governor's Committee on Employment of
People with Disabilities and the Marriott Foundation Bridges
from School to Work Business Advisory Council. In addition to helping people to attain self-sufficiency and independence in
their professional and personal lives, Ms. Erb has recently become involved in assisting people in their efforts to cast independent,
private, and verifiable votes. She passionately believes that, without transparency and verifiability of the election process,
no one, whether with or without a disability, has meaningful access to the ballot box.
