Plumstead Democrats Favor Obama

 

At last night’s monthly meeting, Plumstead Democrats overwhelmingly selected Sen. Barack Obama to be their choice for the Democratic presidential nominee in their second of three scheduled straw polls this primary season.  Sen. Obama also won the first straw poll held last month.

 

The Plumstead Democrats are planning for a busy election year highlighted by next month’s Pennsylvania primary and culminating with the general election in November.  Information about the group is posted on its website at www.plumsteaddemocrats.org.

 

The Plumstead Democrats meet monthly to learn, plan and share the exciting events of the Democratic party in Plumstead and surrounding communities.  Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at the Plumstead Township Municipal Building, 5186 Stump Rd., Plumsteadville, at 7:30 PM.   Questions about this release can be directed to info@plumsteaddemocrats.org.
