To the Editor:
Thank you for covering the conflict
among Plumstead's supervisors over the lawsuit by the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority. How is it that an agency that
is supposed to serve the citizens sues them instead?
To the supervisors who want to settle,
why aren't you willing to fight this outrageous abuse of power? Expanding the sewer system will put significantly greater
strains on our already stressed groundwater. If there is any question about that, follow your Environmental Advisory Council's recommendation: update the water budget and do an environmental-impact study before agreeing to settle. Isn't that what responsible
stewardship demands?
