market conditions answer
Unfortunately for the buyers in Texas, that may not be too true. The Texas market is a little different than other markets around the rest of the U.S. It is GREATLY recommended that prior to even viewing homes, that you get preapproved for your home loan. The further into the loan process you are, the more likely it is for you to not lose that dream home. If you need a good, honest lender that won't play games with you, take a look at our links page. Who ever you decide to use, make sure they provide your real estate agent with the pre approval letter.

I am told that this is a buyer's market, but, I can't seem to win bids on the homes I try to purchase...what gives?

On going help.
Marsae and her team have been kind enough to answer questions I have about what I need to do to make my houses rent faster. They tell me about market trends, color schemes, and designs. My rentals just sat there, when I used a different agent. Thanks guys!
