50 Years of Local 418G
The United Steelworkers Union Local 418G in Lathrop, CA will celebrate
its 50th year on June 19, 2012. The Local was originally under the United Ceramic Workers Union until 1985, then the
Aluminum Brick and Glassworkers Union until the merger with the United Steelworkers in 1998.
An open house party will be at the Plant to celebrate the opening
of the plant on June 4, 1962. Open House will be Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 12pm to 5pm.
