WORK EXPERIENCE:
February 1983 - Present: Private Practice Psychotherapist. Specialties: Couples therapy, divorce issues, adolescence,
infertility and adoption. Supervision and Consultation.
September 1998 - Present: Faculty Field Advisor and Adjunct Assistant Professor, Smith College School for Social Work,
Northampton, MA.
January 1992 - Present: Pulling Together Mediation Center. I belong to a mediation partnership which specializes in
collaborative law divorce coaching, mediation of divorce settlements, prenuptial agreements, interfaith conflicts, workplace
disputes, adoption agreements and estate planning decisions.
October 1983 - October, 1991: Director, Divorce Mediation Program, Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.
November 1978 - January 1983: District Director, South Bay Branch of Jewish Family Service of LA, Individual, Couple,
Family and Group Psychotherapy. Supervision of staff, interns and volunteers.
January 1970 - February 1973: I was instrumental in organizing and became the Director of "Ozone House for Runaways",
a crisis counseling center and 24-hour hotline for runaway adolescents.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:
1998: Co-author of a chapter, "Help: A Special Section", which appears in When Your Parents Split Up, How to
Keep Yourself Together, by Alys Swan-Jackson, published by Price Stern Sloan.
1994 - Present: Supervisor for Psychotherapy Services, a project of The Sanville Institute (formerly the California Institute
for Clinical Social Work, CICSW). Individual and group supervision with not-yet-licensed MSWs.
