Cashew is the son of JA JFK, sired by PPPeruvian Yupanqui.
Cachew's sire, JA JFK, exhibits outstanding traits for a breeding male; large size,
excellent confirmation, great head, great fiber coverage and extremely dense, low-micron uniform fleece. He has been undefeated
in the show ring and awarded first place every time shown, culminating with a first place at the very large ABR Show in Estes
Park, Colorado ( Now the Great Western ) in 2001 at nearly 5 years of age. He has produced numerous show ribbon winners and usually delivers the dam's color or darker including several blacks
and bay blacks. He has a nice dense fleece, but his strongest characteristics are conformation and coverage.

1995 Five Star Peruvian Importation and was mentioned by Don Julio Barreda as one of the top herdsires in the U.S.
Yupanqui, Cashew's paternal grandsire, was a full Accoyo white stud male
with extremely fine - 20.8 microns at five years old - bright fleece, deep amplitude crimp, and density who consistently produced
award winning crias with similarly outstanding fiber. At 5 years of age he had a shearing weight of 11 lbs of 20.8 micron
fiber with a CV of 20.1!
Yupanqui is well-known for producing quality and at 12 years old still had a bright
fleece, great handle and was an excellent breeder with a gentle temperament.
PPeruvian Accoyo Felix, Cashew's maternal grandsire, was pruchased from Northwest Alpacas blue ribbon herd by Heart's Desire Farm. Felix is from the plantel
herd of Accoyo.
PPeruvian Felix has perfect conformation and stature. Sheared 13 pounds 7 ounces after
one year's growth. At 2 1/2 years of age he had a micron of 18.5,SD of 3.7 and cv of 20.
His light fawn fleece is very dense with a highly crimped and uniform lock structure. He has thrown 16 colors including
blacks and greys. Fleece weight of 13.7# ! Felix's proud bearing, regal head and uniform honey fleece are not often found
on any alpaca anywhere.
