The Arrogant Sage Goes Left at a Fork in the Road

Work in Progress

This is my life and I love it. I will no longer apologize for the way it goes. A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. Come, walk with me.

Mail food, mmmm

Oh, Snapper, you are the greatest! A large box was delivered to my door with 2 bags of Jay's chips and 3 Faygo Red Pops. I was in nostalgia heaven. I even had Steakum's for dinner!

Thanks, hon. What a nice way to break in a new house. :)

And on a different note about another Michigan resident....

Happy Birthday, Mike!
(that's my brother)

Back Pain

I hate back pain. Okay, really, I hate pain, but right now it's my back that hurts.

I don't know what I did in particular. It was just one minute it was fine, the next minute it felt like my sciatic nerve got pinched. (I remember the feeling vividly from pregnancy)

Oi. whine whine whine.

Ice packs are nice, though. :)

Hey mom, gonna add a recipe or two for you. It depends on how long I can sit here.

Vindication

There, I finally figured this whole damn thing out. I got a nice picture (courtesy of a blogskin maker: http://www.blogskins.com/me/tuskudrusla)

And I even figured out how to add comments! I'm in heaven. :)

Now, on to the story of the move. As you know, Danny got a job at Washington State University and we had to move across the state. It's very different round these parts. Not as many trees...LOTS of wheat fields.

This is the view from our house (yes...house..not apartment!) Well, okay, I fib a bit. It's a house but it has upstairs and downstairs tenents. We are the downstairs folks. The ladies upstairs are very nice and it's been sooo different from living in an apartment building.

We have a yard and three bedrooms. The kitchen is HUGE. Everyone we have met has been soo nice. It's hot out here, but at least it isn't due to humidity.

I now have satellite tv...OMG, do you know how long it's been since I've had any kind of cable tv?? Yes, since before Cirel was born. Now we spend all our time switching between our 100+ channels.

I hate waiting this long to talk about what's going on because I haven't got a clue what to talk about next. As soon as I load the pictures, I will post about the Lentil Festival. Yes, you read right. Lentils.

I will end this by saying: Go Cougs!

So, the comment thingy...
it's working. I'm just getting it in email format. I suppose that works for now, but I like it when everyone can read the comments...it keeps you rowdy chicas in line! j/k

When I get a chance I shall tell you all about how to move across state in about a week.

New Home
I finally have internet. Oh man, I was dying there for a moment. I was actually forced to hang out with my husband and child...the humanity..

So, of course this means redesign...even though Verizon uses the same software as Earthlink. Seems to me Verizon got a few more features. Neat-o.

Well, this is shitty. I can't find a way to add my comment section in here....ugh. MUST HAVE FEEDBACK. Hmmm, I will work on this a little more. I already have a guestbook...maybe a feed form or a tag board? Damn, those ideas suck. Wish you guys could help me out...oh wait, I wouldn't know if you had ideas...no fucking comment section!

Okay, I found a form...damn, I don't like it. It's ugly. Help.
