Well, after the Great Car Fixing we did last month, I will have to revise our savings goal. I knew there was a reason
I felt compelled to save more than the required $1000 emergency fund. :)
My new goal is going to be $2000 and then start on the smallest student loan. I will start working full-time
this summer, so we will have loads of money to roll onto the loan and have it paid off in no time.
Oh, would you look at that! Looks like as of today, I have reached my savings goal. Hooray.
Goal #1 (revised): Save $2000 emergency fund. DONE
Goal #2: Pay off lowest student loan (roughly $10,500). IN PROGRESS
Yeah, I said it. What are you gonna do about it?! It was great seeing Tonya and her girls this weekend. We had a fabulous
time laughing and talking and laughing some more. Cirel even managed to have fun while being sick.
The girls were healthy and as beautiful as I remember and Tonya looked like a model. It was good to see her so happy
with herself and her choices. :-D I am grateful for her friendship. *Glomp*
In other news, Missouri (and a number of other states) were hit with tornados this weekend. Keep those people in your
thoughts. Caruthersville, Mo declared a state of emergency. My Mother-in-Law lives there. Hopefully, we will hear from them
as soon as there is power. Update: Everyone is okay. Mom just called. :)
And last, but not least it's time for:
