My sister called me today. She left a message for me to call her back on her cell phone and I couldn't tell if her voice
had a bit of worry in it or not. So, even though, I really only stopped by the house for a quick minute, I immediately called
her back.
I even worried for a quick minute when I couldn't reach her on her cell phone and had to call her house. Thankfully,
she was there. I asked her what was up and she told me all about a friend who has a catcus and needed advice on trimming it.
I tell you guys this because of my unexpected reaction after I got off the phone. I cried. Not because I was worried,
but because of the love and complete respect I receive from my big sister. She's 5 years older than me and I have always
been adoring of her. She's beautiful, sweet, talented, popular, and funny...everything I have always wanted to be.
Can you guys believe that my big sister actually calls me for advice on things?! She treats me as an equal with valid
inputs. I don't think I can begin to tell you how lucky I am to have her in my life. I miss the hell out of her.
So, Erica, I hope you know how much I adore you. I hope you know how you touched my heart with a simple phone call about
a plant.
Thank you.
Or something like that.
Happy Birthday to me!
Woo hoo. It's weird being 31. I can't make any excuses about being too
young. Oh well. Danny made me a Power Point presentation in lieu of a card. (He knows me so well)
He listed 31 reasons I should be glad to be 31. It was very sweet. Then he bought me a computer, computer
desk and chair. Squee!!
Ahh, spring is finally here. Thank goodness, 'cause I was getting tired of the cold weather! Alas, I suppose
I should get used to it because we are here for the long haul.
But I guess it's worth it when you get views like this:
It's really very pretty out here!
Oh yeah, Mom wanted to see my hair. So, here you go:
Pay no attention to the dorky look on my face. This is 5 years without a relaxer, Mom! Woot. Although, I will admit to
temptation every once in a while...thank goodness I am lazy and cheap!
And it wouldn't be Spring without baseball! So here is our new Spring activity which doesn't cost a thing (Thank you,
Cougar Athletics!)
WSU Baseball

Go Cougs!

Danny comtemplating a hot dog. ($3, yikes!)
Oh yeah, I did it again...yesterday, we were taking a nice family walk when my ankle decided to go in a different direction
than the rest of my body. So, I fell on the ground screaming in agony.
Cirel was there and she kept here cool while Mommy rolled around in the dirt crying like a baby. That girl is tough.
Danny got me to the street and then they continued on home to get the car. I was out there for about 15 minutes. One person
stopped to ask if I were okay. Everyone else just looked at me like I was crazy.
