Spring is in the air.
I had all these great pics of Cirel with a ladybug and it was supposed to be cute and spring...eh, I can't get
them uploaded for some stinking reason.
Oh well, just imagine her cute little face as she holds the first lady bug she finds. Imagine her delight as it crawls
all over her hand. Then she makes it a home near a couple of rocks and feeds it grass.
There. Happy Fucking Spring.

Scrapbook Fun
With a generous "grant" from Danny I was able to purchase my very first diecut machine. Introducing the Cuttlebug!
(click picture for website)
It will supposedly work with dies from other machines (sizzix, sidekick, etc.) So, I can buy what I want and not have
to worry about it fitting. And to top it off, their pieces (diecuts and embossing folders) aren't nearly as expensive as the
others. For example, an alphabet from Cuttlebug is $79.99 retail and an alphabet for Sizzix sidekick is $149 retail!
So, unfortunately, I only have one embossing folder, but it's fun to play with. I can't wait to find other dies on sale
to use in my new machine.
Oh yeah, Go COUGS! We beat Oral Roberts today (is anybody surprised?)

Anniversary
Seven years ago, I married my best friend. I wasn't nervous or scared in the least, but I didn't know what I
was truly getting myself into. Flash forward to today and I know precisely what I have done...
I've married a wonderful, kind, loving man. He is amazing.
There's no other way to explain it except that Danny is my king. His number one priority in life is making sure his family
is taken care of. He works hard to keep us clothed, sheltered, and fed. He works even harder to make sure we can have some
fun in life. Everything he does is for us (I know, cue Brian Adams) and I love him so much for his efforts.
Thank you Danny for being the kind of husband every woman dreams of and the kind of Dad every child should
have.
I love you, honey.

You know it Could Happen
This one is for everyone who ..
a) has kids, b) had kids, c) was a kid, d) knows a kid e) is going
to have kids.
I was packing for my business trip and my three year old daughter was having a wonderful
time playing on the bed. At one point she said, "Daddy, look at this," and stuck out two of her fingers.
Trying to keep her entertained, I reached out and stuck her tiny fingers in my mouth and said, "Daddy's
gonna eat your fingers," pretending to eat them. Went back to packing, looked up again and my daughter was
standing on the bed staring at her fingers with a devastated look on her face.
I said, "What's wrong,
honey?"
She replied, "What happened to my booger?"
Thanks, Erica. This is funny as hell.
