Two lectures delivered by Dr. Thorne at the American Uveitis Society Meeting at the American Academy of Ophthalmology in May 2007 and November 2006. Update and Answers- provided by Dr. Thorne at the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Reserach Alliance (CARRA) Update about JIA and the Eye delivered by Dr. Thorne with the Arthritis Foundation. Baltimore Sun article published Sept. 2, 2005 in the Health and Science section.  The "Try-athalon for Kids" held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005 at the Stoneleigh Community Pool was a great success.  With over 60 children participating in this event, everyone had a wonderful time.  A portion of the proceeds were donated to K.U.R.E. Article published in the Johns Hopkins DOME hightlights K.U.R.E. and our efforts to fund research into this disease. Recent WBFF Fox 45 news broadcast on March 2, 2006 featured K.U.R.E. and raised awareness about uveitis.
