In July 2004, I got to take my first trip to our nation's capitol. There was a lot to see in Washington, DC.
Trust me, this place is so humid. I did a lot of walking around one day, and I'm sure I must have gone through four
clean shirts by the time my day was done. I think at the point of this snapshot, I had blisters from all the walking
around I did.
During my stay in Baltimore, Maryland, I got a pretty big thrill before trying to get into the Orioles game when I had
this picture taken of me next to this statue of Babe Ruth.

Here I was, spending a nice Sunday at Victoria BC's Butchart Gardens. It was a relatively warm day,
so I welcomed this break in the shade.
