Healed Heart

Heart.. held captive with strange fascination ~
Broken.. at the unveiling of the truth.
Nature weeps and clings to the cold ground.
Her tears moisten the clay.
Yet, while these silent tears make no sound,
A hand reaches down...
Fingers penetrating into the ground!
And out of nature's brokenness,
leaves a rippled cave...
where the heart that has been captive
seals itself like an anchor!
No longer powerless against the waves.
Broken pieces now blend and mold
into the ground without a trace!
And nature weeps no more!
