When the silvery strands of winter
slowly melt and fade away,
Life's dew drops swiftly dripping
sinking into earth's brown clay
Shallow thoughts and weak minds
begin to weep and pray
Afraid to face tomorrow ~
Not looking towards a new day
Feeling that the season has past
~
And with it takes away
The warmth of woolen blankets
And the
fire burning in the adobe fireplace!
The ground looks forward to new life
It waits for sunlight and spring
The streams
once frozen, are now melting~
The trees naked branches stretch and sing,
Asking for their new coat
of leaves that are shiny green.
If nature has that craving,
Then
you too can see what is unseen!
