Who is Eligible for DAR Membership?
"Any woman is eligible for membership who is not less than eighteen years of
age and who is lineally descendeded from a man or woman who with unfailing loyalty aided in the cause of
American Independence.
A prospective member must be able to prove her lineage back to an ancestor who
served in the American cause during the
American Revolution"
