Hello, my name is Jeannie Wells. I’d like to talk to you for a moment about my favorite Scripture. Here is my favorite all time Scripture.

  Psalm 1:1-2 

  1  “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth

       in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

  2.  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day  

      and night.”

 These two verses show me that a man who doesn’t seek out the counsel of ungodly people are blessed. So are those who don’t keep the company of sinners. So are those who aren’t sitting in a scornful seat.

 The second verse shows me that we should not only delight in the law of the Lord but we should also meditate in it.

 I’m not talking about the law of Moses. I’m talking about the law that God puts in your heart when you become a new Christian. We as Christians are supposed to take delight in this law but we are also supposed to meditate in it.

 Do you have God’s personal Word and law written on your hearts? Do you know how important it is? Jesus is coming very, very shortly. Are you ready? It’s not a game. When He comes back for His church you had better be born-again and on fire for the Lord. Other-wise….well, you know.

 So why not talk to God right now. Why not ask Him to forgive all your sins. Why not tell Him that you invite Him in. Why not tell Jesus that you accept what He did on the cross. Ask Him to write the law of God on your heart. You will immediately become a different person.
