Same old, same old going on here....it's freaking cold outside though....brrrrr!  Not sure if we're doing anything special this weekend or not....probably not, I have TONS to do in the house and out in the garden anyway.

 

Well I just thought I'd check in and let everyone know what's going on, which isn't much....LOL

It's been a long, long time since I posted.......Summer's been here and is almost gone already...My garden is beautiful this year....especially the pond area...In the fall we are going to drain it out and make the 6 by 3 foot pond much, much bigger.

 

I have 4 goldfish...probably 80 mosquito fish, a bullfrog, and a ton of snails in there.  I highly recommend putting in a pond, just make sure it's at LEAST 3 foot deep for this area and has good filtration.

 

Mom and Dad are in England right now and poor Mom is worried to death after all of the terrorist stuff going on right now.  They fly back to the US in September.

It's raining cats and dogs here this morning...which is okay we need it....we have a big deficit right now.

 

Not much exciting going on...we're getting a new roof soon and the cool thing is we won't have to pay for labor since Mark and his 2 brothers are all roofers!

 

Got some plants the other day and planted them all!

I've neglected my blog....isn't that terrible...I sometimes forget that I have it.

 

Not a lot going on here...Yesterday was my best friends baby shower and it was so wonderful and overwhelming seeing her so happy and literally full of life.

 

Today was the Daytona 500, and Gordon didn't win--but his teammate did, so that's not so bad.

 

I'll try to remember to post more often....

Woke up at 4:30, didn't go to bed until 2am...so there you have it...2 and a half hours of sleep, reminds me of my college days...lol  Think there is a healthy nap in my future.

 

Had some McDonalds breakfast, and Mark is out at his parents cutting up the deer he got yesterday.

 

We have to watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith today sometime....I think Angelina Jolie is so beautiful.

Just got finished eating some dinner...beef stew and biscuits over at moms!!!  That's the best thing about living across the street from your mother...free food!!!LOL

 

I've been wrapping more presents tonight too...seems like it's neverending.

 

My niece Kristen was up here over the past weekend which was nice.  And my nephew was over here hanging out with me yesterday.

 

Well, duty calls--so I guess I'd better tackle the mound of laundry that never goes away.

Well here I am....It's 9:30pm and I've been working on Christmas cards...I have at least 50 to send out so I have a feeling it's going to take a while....I finished putting up all the xmas decorations today, outside and inside--and there is something so magical about plugging in all of those lights....

 

My anniversary was on the 20th of November and it was really nice....Mark got me a 1/4 carat diamond ring.....But I'm so sad because yesterday I lost my wedding band....It didn't cost all that much but the sentimental value of it is huge....I've been crawling on my hands and knees on the kitchen floor with a flashlight for hours but it seems to have just disappeared into thin air.

 

I hope everyones Christmas plans are going smoothly.  I know my 4 year old niece absolutely can't wait!!!!

This computer room is so cluttered that it's driving me nuts....I absolutely have to clean it up today....It's probably going to take forever but it will be worth it when it's done...

 

I should upload the rest of my Ocean pics while I'm cleaning....that's a good idea actually because even with DSL it takes a while to do so many pictures.....

Getting hungry here and Mark is out hunting...hmmppf....When you are the wife of a hunter it's like being divorced during hunting season...LOL  I can't complain too much because it's one of his only hobbies....My avon order goes in tomorrow....I love doing it so much.  I'll be posting a link to some of my ocean city pictures, check in the links topic for it.....

Yep, it does...feels just like a sunday to me today....I guess because it's been rainy, and overcast....I've had a SUPER lazy day....I really didn't get ready at all...just sort of played around on the computer most of the day....I didn't even have to cook, mom gave me leftover chili for dinner, and Mark brought home cheeseburgers for lunch...LOL

 

I hope it's sunny tomorrow, days like this make me soooooo tired.

Well, just finished eating dinner.....chicken tenders and fries...

 

Mel stopped by today---she'll be 30 tomorrow!!!  I can't say too much I'm not far behind....

 

Mark's coming up in a minute to play a game on the computer with me so this is just a quick entry tonight....

Hi there, it's just me....It's getting close to midnight and what am I doing?  I'm sitting here making up my own personal website....LOL  Well, if you know me you know that I'm a night owl...

 

I'm excited Mel is coming to visit me tomorrow and I don't get to see her very often...She's calling me early so I suppose I should be in bed huh?LOL
