Welcome graphic

This is the Second cassette recorder my mother had. My uncle brought out one, and then gave that one to my grandmother. Then my uncle gave us a Cassette tape recorder, and the area where the microphone plugs into the recorder busted (the plastic) so  the jack itself was hanging by the wires. I don't know why we got rid of it otherwise. Now back to my mother's second recorder (after the one the jack broke in). This is a Truetone Tape recorder. My father bought this from Western Auto in the late 60's-early 70's. The motor in it burned out and had to be replaced. Around 1977, the Rewind button broke. I then took the tape recorder apart, and moved the FF to the Rewind. Since Rewind is more important.

This is what the tape recorder SHOULD look like. I used a graphic program to make an extra key that was missing for the picture. I am hoping to find a model just like this, on ebay, in good condition, and no broken keys.

This is a Truetone Model: MID7050A07       2690 Made in Japan

Notice the price of $6.00. That was the cost to replace the motor, in the early 70's. (about 1971)
