Above: A Sears Cassette Recorder like the one I got Christmas 1976.

Above: A JCPenney Tape Recorder. Like the first one I ever had that had a meter and digital counter. I got the original on for Christmas, 1979,(and in 1980, made a lot of famous recordings, lol) and it worked well for a few years, then the sound started getting choppy. I threw it away, because it was unfixable. The one I just got, works great, although it has a intermittant sound issue, which could probably be fixed with tuner cleaner.I only paid $10.20 for the one off of ebay, incluing shipping.I was outbid on the one just prior to that at over $30.00 or more. I got a bargain!!!!
