Radios and Scanners
Welcome!

Above: One of my favorite radios of all time. A Realistic Patrolman SW-60. It receives AM/FM/AIR/POLICE/AMBULANCE/AIRCRAFT/WEATHER/SHORTWAVE

I had one just like it, bought it 1985. In 1992, the dial cord broke, so that was that. I got a Cobra 16 Channel scanner the same day that the dial-cord broke.

The Radio showing is another one I got from ebay.

This is a picture my very first scanner. Bought in November 1992.(Fingerhut) It arrived on the same day that the dial-cord broke on the 6 band scanner I had, like the one above (but the one pictured above is a second one, and it works fine) This Scanner is a Cobra 16 channel scanner. I still use it in one of the rooms.

This is my second Scanner, a Realistic Patrolman 80 Channel Scanner. Bought in 1995.

This is my 3rd scanner. A realistic 1000 channel Dual-Trunking scanner. (20-525) I have no need for Duel-Trunking, because I live in a rural area. but this has triple-conversion, which blocks stray frequencies from interfering. And it works on batteries, handy for power outages and portability.
