Below
This is a "Electra" Radio Phono. It is identical to a "Soundwave" Radio Phono I played when I was a tot.
My Father bought it, but I took it over, lol. But they still used it.
But this has an Electra Logo said instead, on a metal plate saying "Soundwave". And the other
difference is our Soundwave had a built in Transformer, so all that was needed was an AC cord. This Electra, has a 6 Volt
DC Jack. I got this Electra today 12-29-06. The tuning knob, I replaced with one I saved off of our Soundwave. Of Course,
that is all I saved. In one of the pictures, it shows a tuning know that came with the electra, unattached. The record player
does not play. The sound is a continous "hiss". But the AM radio works fine.

Below: The shiny plate on the right is the DC Jack cover

Below: The Tuning Knob that came with it. I replaced it with one I saved off of the one we had years ago.

Above: A nice looking Admiral Record player, mono. Drawback: It has a loud hum. No doubt it needs a new
filter capacitor. But I don't feel like messing with it..
Below: An Admiral Stereo record player. Works great!!!
