Shipping and handling may vary with each purchase. However, for single
stamp lots, they are currently as follows:
$0.75 within the United States
$1.10 to Canada or Mexico
$1.40 to anywhere else
in the world
Multiple single stamp purchases will be combined and shipped for the same
low price providing the items are purchased and paid for at the same time. This will insure that the buyer does
not pay excessive fees on shipping costs, providing that:
(1) the total weight of the combined purchases does
not exceed the postal one ounce limit so as to increase postage costs
and
(2) all items that are purchased are shipped
together at the same time.
Stamps are small and light and I can fit several lots into one envelope
to save you extra shipping costs. Almost all of the stamps I sell are in individual glassine envelopes, so I can generally
get about 6-7 lots of single stamps in one envelope without exceeding the postage weight limit.
Some lots have larger numbers of stamps in them, so their shipping costs
will naturally be more, simply due to the volume and weight. I will still combine smaller lots with these larger
lots to save shipping costs.
Generally, if a lot has more than 20 stamps, give or take a few depending
on the size of the stamps, one of those lots alone could take up most of the shipping cost. Consequently, if
there are several more lots to include in the envelope, it will naturally cost a little more to ship them.
Please keep in mind that I do not try to
make any profit at all from shipping and handling costs, so I do whatever I can to consolidate as many stamps into
one envelope as possible to save you money.
For commemorative sheets and blocks of stamps that need to be placed in
a larger envelope, the shipping cost will depend on the size of the envelope. Most 5" x 7" envelopes can be shipped at
the following rate:
$1.40 within the United States
$1.85 to Canada or Mexico
$2.50 to anywhere else
in the world
If you have any questions on how much it will cost to ship
a lot, please contact the seller before making a purchase.
All lots will be shipped after payment is received. Unfortunately,
I have no control over post offices and all items are mailed at the buyer’s risk. However, insurance (for US shipments
only) is available at the bidder's request.
