Volunteers Distribute Posters in Ventura County, CA
Last week seven volunteers distributed 500 posters throughout Ventura
County to help find Mike. We have never met these wonderful people who have been so generous with their time. Thank you so
much and please know you will always have a special place in our hearts.

Update from the California Trip
From Mikes mom, Sandy:
Several people have left me phone messages and emails and I realized
I have not provided an update on the search recently. Mike's Dad and I returned home last Wednesday and left behind an army
of angels who continue to search for Michael.
- Yesterday over 250 Santa Barbara artists passed out 500 posters
at their weekly exhibit on the waterfront. This exhibit is visited by a large number of people from all over the state.
-
Mike and I appeared on local TV last Monday.
- Star (the person who actually spoke with Michael) was able to find a few
Mexican people who went out to the farms and ranches around Oija to see if Michael was possibly working in the area. Several
workers said that someone of his description had been working in the area for the past 3 weeks and was hitchhiking around.
We spent our last day in the town of Oija passing out flyers etc. A friend in California is going to visit the area soon to
speak with more of the workers. We are translating the web page and poster into Spanish. It is mostly done.
- I came home
to 4 hang up calls on my office voice mail. This is very unusual. I am not sure if they can be traced but we are working on
it.
There have been no new leads to date but I am grateful to know Michael is alive and trying to come home.
We believe in miracles of good deeds, kindness, love and guidance. We believe in the power of God and his infinite mercy.
We wait in hope. We work in love. We are not alone.

Reward Increased to $20,000
Due to a the genorisity of friends and family, Michael's reward has been raised to $20,000. Sandy and Buddy Hopkins and
Mike and Pat Hogan are deeply grateful. The increase of the reward during this time of heightened awareness can help
us locate him. He is endangered and it is important that he receive help as soon as possible.

Michael to be featured on the show Missing
Michael will be featured on a show entitled "Missing" show #389 between 5/13 and 5/16. This show is aired nationally
on different channels. Please send this information to everyone on your email list and ask them to do the same. The more people
who watch this show the better the chances for locating Michael.
