Remembering Michael
This website is dedicated to our son and brother William “Mike” Hogan who disappeared from Shrewsbury, Vermont
on May 16, 2005. His remains were recovered on November 18, 2009, a few miles from where he disappeared. They were found by
a hunter who had the compassion and strength of character to do the right thing and notify the Vermont State Police. We are
grateful for his action.

As we mourn Michael’s death and celebrate his life, it is good to know that he is - and has been- with the Lord.
We will travel to Vermont after Thanksgiving to recover Michael’s personal affects, meet with the Vermont State Police
who have been so supportive throughout this process, and visit the place where Michael’s remains were found. This is
a devastating time for us. We worked hard to maintain hope that we would one day find him alive. Arrangements for Michael’s
funeral will be posted here once they are finalized. Please keep us all in your prayers.
